Hot on the heels of their second and highly acclaimed CD, Emergence, Austin's Alex Coke Carl Michel Sextet invites you to their next live concert at Captain Quack's Soundspace this November 30. The band features the talents of a very diverse set of well known musicians who all perform in numerous other projects of varying genres. Led by  jazz stalwarts Alex Coke (saxophones and flutes) and Carl Michel (guitar), the ensemble also features Austin Symphony's principal harpist, Elaine Barber, pedal steel player/composer/producer Bob Hoffnar,  vibes about town dynamo Carolyn Trowbridge, and first call upright bassist James Suter.
