DENTON, TX - Friends With Benefits (FWB) is excited to announce the 5th Annual 100% for charity event - We Denton Drag It!
Join FWB for the 5th Annual We Denton Drag It, presented by Sexworkers Outreach Project, for a night full of LGBTQIA+ variety talents. Since its inception in 2017, WDDI has raised $26,000 for local LGBTQIA+ nonprofit organizations.
This year's We Denton Drag It will benefit House of Rebirth, a 501c3 nonprofit community organization with a vision of safety, access, and healing for the specific needs of Black Trans Women in North Texas.
FWB is excited to announce the 2022 Drag Headliner is none other than the International Super Spy of Drag herself, Ginger Minj! Ginger was runner-up of Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race and also competed in All Stars Season 2 and runner-up in All-Stars Season 6. She is a plus-size diva - always wants to look neat, petite and ready to eat!
The musical headliner is American Idol Season 16 contestant and TikTok sensation, Noah Davis. With his poppin beats and edgy lyrics, Noah will pump up the stage with an energetic performance to keep us all dancing!
WDDI will also include performances by Kind Beats, & local drag and queerlesque showcases - Glitterbomb, Lucky Lou's Drag Brunch, The Golden Cabaret!
Glitterbomb Performers include: Birdie Holly, Bodyxblunts, Onyx Fury, Hosted by The Bearded Queer.
Lucky Lou's Drag Brunch Performers include: Kabrina D. Sierra, Sierra Lapuerta, Sapphire E Laine Tailor, Juana Velez Dmarko, Christine Deleon, Hosted by Jupiter.
The Golden Cabaret Performers include: Buck Sallday, Clint Liquor, Mary Anne Somers, Sherice Maraschino, Bella Donna Patron.
