It all started in 1974 when 16 cook teams got together to roast some goat in an effort to raise money for the Jaycees of McCulloch county. Now, more than 5,700 pounds of goat are cooked each year in at Richard’s Park on Labor Day Weekend. Come enjoy live music and more during the 48th installment of the cookoff.
